Weather in Togo

March 5th, 2006 | By: Nick O'Neill | No Comments »

Climate is a big factor in the World Cup, with teams coming to Germany from all over the World. Getting used to the local climate is very important and that is one of the many reasons why Europeans teams do well in Europe and S. American teams do well in America.

The June temperatures in Germany are probably going to be in the 70f’ s - 80f’s, with medium humidity. Players from Togo are used to temperatures in the 90f’s with sweltering humidity. Right now the temperature in Togo is 79f with 100% humidity. Togo has a few European based players who will feel more comfortable, but if the German weather turns out to be cold and windy, you can expect Togo to play below par.
