Togo: Keshi may get axe
February 9th, 2006 | By: Nick O'Neill | No Comments »
Togo manager, Stephen Keshi may get the axe after a bad showing in the African Nations Cup. Togo went 0-3 (that’s won 0, lost 3 for you British sports fans).
Keshi is a Nigerian and only a few months ago was very popular after getting Togo to their first World Cup. I think he should still be congratulated, though Togo’s chances seem to be on the decline even before the competition has begun. Keshi and star player, Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor do not get along, and right now Togo can live without Keshi, more than it can live without Adebayor.
Maybe Sven Boring Eriksson can take over Togo after the World Cup.
