Togo gag order before World Cup 2006

Togo players have been given a gag order before FIFA World Cup 2006. German coach Otto Pfister, is struggling to shake off the memories of his childhood in East Germany. Pfister has specifically said his players must not speak to members of the Korean media, as South Korea is one of Togo’s opponents in Group G.

Pfister isn’t taking chances, and had also banned contact with Chinese and Japenese people, fearing they could be Koreans in disguise. The Thai massage girl can stay, but anyone who looks like Bruce Lee is persona non grata (or non chatter) as the case maybe.

Otto has installed listening devices in all the players rooms, a scanning device for electonic sensors, and has loaded 9mm’s stashed in strategic pot plants.

I didn’t realize this gag order was on your blog too…where are the updates friend? Not trying to be a jerk just wondering why there haven’t been many updates over the past couple weeks, especially with out beloved Sparrowhawks well into their preparation in Germany.

Here’s a brief update Brad. It appears Les Eperviers are having their traditional pre-tournament sulk about bonuses which is, again, threatening to derail our campaign:

Oh boy, here we go again. As if we didn’t have enough things against us already. Togo is a poor country so I’m not completely surprised they are being told they can’t be paid that kind of money. I hop ethey just drop it or accept a lot less. I mean 40,000$ US for each player for a win??? Granted, they chances are slim they will get a win but that’s a lot of money!
