Togo 4 Wangen 0 at World Cup 2006
June 7th, 2006 | By: Nick O'Neill | No Comments »
Togo got themselves together to beat German local team Wangen, 4-0 on Tuesday, providing the perfect World Cup warm up. Togo scorers were Emmanuel Adebayor, Thomas Dossevi, Mohamed Kader Coubadja and Yao Senaya. Otto Pfister, Togo’s mastermind German coach for World Cup 2006 said “I was satisfied with the match but we missed quite a lot of goals and we will have to work on that.” “We have a good chance against (South) Korea and after that we will see.”
Togo are staying in the small German spa town of Wangen, and the game against the local team means that after World Cup 2006, some of the Togo players could play in the German minor leagues.
