Germany unveils Golden Ball

Germany un veils Golden soccer ball for the World Cup Final in Berlin. President of the German World Cup organizing committee, Franz Beckenbauer, tossed a copy of the ball around in front of a huge replica, today.

The balls differ from ones used in the other 63 games by being gold and white, instead of black and white. The regular balls are called Teamgeist - “team spirit” and the golden balls are called Teamgeist Berlin.

The regular balls are made in Thailand, and the 15 golden balls are made in Germany.
