Emmanuel Adebayor not good enough for Arsenal’s bench
Togo star Emmanuel Adebayor was not in Arsenal’s starting line up, or on the bench for the mid-week game against Real Madrid. That’s actually great news, because he’ll be even more rested for the World Cup in June. Emmanuel is known to need at least 12 hours sleep a day and staying up late on a cold wednesday night night could throw everything out of whack.
By the time Germany rolls around, Togo are going to have one very relaxed striker!

Nick,
Emmanuel Adebayor was actually cup-tied for the match against Real Madrid having played for Monaco earlier in the competition which explains why he wasn’t in the squad for the match
