March 13th, 2006 | By: Nick O'Neill | 1 Comment »

Togo and Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor has a rift with players and former coach. The lanky Togo forward, said he was in favor of former coach, Stephen Keshi being fired. He also said Togo players had no right to demand he take Togo to the World Cup Finals in Germany. World Cup 2006 will be a huge test for Adebayor, as well as getting onto the Arsenal 1st team.

It’s amazing how the news gets easily distorted. Adebayor didn’t say he was in favor of Keshi being fired; He said he wasn’t in favor of petitioning for Keshi’s return. Somehow I think those are different.
