Adebayor Gets His Puni$hment

Well it is not a guillotine, but Monaco has found a way to punish Togo striker Emmanuel Adebayor for repeatedly missing team training sessions.

The club will no longer allow Adebayor to practice and will fine the young player. The punishment was made easier by the team’s recent acquisition of Italian strikers Marco Di Vaio and Christian Vieri.

Adebayor has something to fall back upon, so shed no tears for him. He is with the Togo national team preparing for the upcoming African Nations Cup and will likely be on the final roster in Germany this summer if he can find the key that unlocks the door to Monaco’s doghouse
